Phantom 20th Anniversary
Last 9th October 2006 it was celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the Phantom
of the Opera musical in Her Majesty's Theatre, London.
All the cast was fantastic: Earl Carpenter as the Phantom, Rachel Barrel as
Christine and David Shannon as Raoul were perfect in their roles, and gave
their best voices on that special night.
At the end of the show, Earl Carpenter, very touched, said some nice words to
audience and announced some great characters from Phantom's Company like
Charles Hart (lyrics), Richard Stylgoe, Gillian Lynne (choreography) , the very
first Buquet, etc. And, of course, a special introduction to Andrew Lloyd
Webber, who was very excited, and dedicated some words to his best musical,
the Phantom, and all audience. With tars in his eyes, he announced his
favorite diva, Sarah Brightman. She was really charming and delighted with
this event. Together (Carpenter, Andrew and Sarah), they cut a special
chocolate cake with the Phantom mask symbol and invite audience to sing
along Happy Birthday to Phantom.
It was a great gala which will be always remembered.

A Today well enjoyed does that each Yesterday be a dream of happiness and
each Morning a vision of hope. You deserve a lifetime of precious mornings.
Happy birthday, dear Phantom.
